Underrated and vicious. Spring 'racers' give way to acrobatic summer schools, then summer/fall 'chopper' blues 15 lb+ that will straighten hooks. Fast, aggressive, and about as much fun as it gets on light tackle. Certain times of the year these can be caught finning on the surface and make for incredible sight fishing fun on fly. Numbers seem to be dwindling but when they're around they stick around for a few weeks, get them when you can!
